About this workshop
Join photographer Andrew Parsons for a one-day fashion photography deep dive exploring the creative and technical process behind producing polished, professional fashion imagery. Through demonstrations, guided instruction and hands-on shooting, participants will experience the complete workflow—from studio lighting and working with a model to retouching and final color.
The day will begin in the studio, where participants will learn essential lighting concepts, camera settings, posing, and direction while working collaboratively with a live model. We’ll explore how lighting, composition, and creative decision-making come together to create compelling fashion photographs, along with professional etiquette for working with talent.
We’ll then move into the digital lab to explore Andrew’s post-production workflow using Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop, covering image development, skin retouching, masking and layers, and color grading.
Participants will leave with hands-on studio experience, a stronger understanding of lighting and directing talent, foundational Photoshop retouching skills, and a clearer understanding of the complete fashion photography workflow from capture to final image.
